The consumption of edible vegetable oil is limited

At present, China's consumption of edible vegetable oil is about 24 million tons. According to China's current population of 1.35 billion, China's per capita consumption of edible vegetable oil is about 17.8 kg, close to the world average level of 20 kg.

This consumption exceeds the per capita consumption level of 17 kg in Japan and 16 kg in South Korea, and there is limited room for improvement in the future. In addition, the government has reduced public funds for eating and drinking and advocated economy this year, so the growth of oil consumption is obviously limited.
